Water leaks are an insidious problem. Apart from obvious consequences such as mould, leaks can go unnoticed and cause considerable damage to the building fabric. Water leaks on pipes or manifolds are becoming more common with the growing popularity of underfloor heating combined with heat pumps. If settlement stresses occur on the pipes in prefabricated buildings, this can also lead to invisible leaks.

Probes for measuring water levels

The leak probes, available in various shapes and sizes, are housed in a waterproof enclosure. This keeps them functional even at higher water levels. Integrated via a 1-Wire network, they allow flexible and sensitive adjustment of the switching polarity.

Sensors for fault detection

The highly sensitive sensors are attached directly to the water pipe and detect unusual reactions and faults. Even the slightest deviations in the normal pressure curve are detected.

Reliable alerts in an emergency

An alarm can be triggered locally or sent to central or decentralised monitoring stations, ensuring a prompt response even when residents are away. Decentralised alerting uses its own radio network, so that alerts are still sent if the home network fails.

Compared with the average cost of a leak, the cost of setting up guardstack monitoring is essentially a no-brainer, especially if it is taken into account during the construction phase.
